SECOND CABINET MEETING – SIBIU, NOVEMBER 08-09, 2013
The meeting from Sibiu, the second for the lionistic year 2013-2014, counted a big number of Lions participants from entire country. They participated with interest at the meeting, Saturday, 09 November 2013, sending their opinions every time when the subject debated was in their interest domain.
Lions Club Ploiesti was present at the meeting by participation of three members, and the District 124 Romania Secretary for this lionistic year, Antonio Tache.
The subjects were a lot, and very different, These were discussed and analyzed one by one. More important issues were:
- Participation of Lions members from District 24 Romania to the European Forums and another international meetings which will be;
The positive view at the international level give by our country delegation, which participated at the international Lions meetings.
- Visibility of Lions Clubs at the national and international level, by promoting the realized actions;
- Grow up the numbers of Lions members;
Numerical growing and clubs performance growing.
- LIONS magazine – printed and on-line;
The equipments for sustain the on-line magazine edition are already done.
The number of printed magazine is established at four editions/year.
- Lions Quest - young people education against violence and drog;
We want to start new training sesions for teachers, in romanian language.
- Peace Posters Contest;
Committee appointed, choosed the winner poster for District 124 Romania, which will represented the Association at the international stage of the contest; Lions Club Decan Bucharest was the promoter of the winner poster, this year.
All the posters which participated at the national competition, will be auctioned at the Lions New Year’s Eve, in January 2014, in Poiana Brasov.
The Saturday evening was the evening of friendship and joy to be part from a big, humanitary organization.
Thanks for Lions Clubs Sibiu members, for the organization of the event, when the Lions members from each part of the country, felt in the same family.
