SPONSORSHIP SOCIAL ACTION - PLACEMENT CENTER PLOPENI
General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Prahova organized on 07.08.2014 at Plopeni Placement Center, from 10:00, the sixth edition of the event "SOCIALIZING KNOWS NO AGE.” The event was organized as a competition for sport of the mind, addressed to children, youth and adults with disabilities from the social assistance units under direction of D.G.A.S.P.C. Prahova .
Ploiesti Lions Club sponsored the event and attended by three members to its unfolding.
In that action, arrived at its sixth edition, were held sports competitions like backgammon and rummy, attended by people from residential centers in the structure of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Prahova .
Along with the recipients from General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Prahova, the event was attended by guests from the local community or pensioner’s enthusiast of the backgammon or rummy games. All participants received prizes and awards, and the winners have gone with the trophy for “Best backgammon player ", respectively “Best rummy player."
Also at the event was organized a lunch table with grill and traditional Romanian food, all of which are accompanied by a musical performance offered by the organizers, where were invited local singers.
