INTERNATIONAL CONTEST "POSTERS FOR PEACE"
                                                                                    ~ 2012 - 2013 ~

THEME: 
                                                         
"IMAGINE PEACE"

Each year, Lions clubs around the world proudly sponsor the Lions International Peace Poster Contest in local schools and youth groups. This art contest for kids encourages young people worldwide to express their visions of peace. For 25 years, more than four million children from nearly 100 countries have participated in the contest.

DETAILED CRITERIA OF COMPETITION: 
• His creation :
                         
- Not less than 33/50 cm 
                         
- But no higher than 50/60 cm. 
• Drawing paper should be cardboard or thicker paper, good quality, preferably with dimensions: 40cm -width and 55cm-lenght.
 

• Drawings must not be framed because it will be placed in a cardboard tube. 
• You can submit only one drawing of a person participating. 

• Each club is entitled to send the District a single drawing. 
• Each creation can have a single author. 

• Each entry must be done manually even by the person participating. Drawings done on computer, photographs or copies of any kind are not allowed. 
• Ways of achieving accepted: charcoal, crayons, pens, paints watercolors, chalk pastel, pencil, pen. Drawings executed in chalk is recommended to be fixed with hairspray against damage. 

•Tri-dimensional drawings are not acceptable. 
• Do not attach anything like stick or any form of drawings. 

• DO NOT AGREE ON THE DESIGN ANY LETTERS OR FIGURES! 
• All signatures artist or his initials will be placed on the back of the sheet. 

•Identification data for the person who made the poster (name, birth date, address and possibly phone / or e-mail, and his school) will sign on the back of creation (multiply package sticker kit and sticks ). 
• Poster (design) will run on a flexible surface (paper) for the purpose of transporting it in the form of roll. 

• Please do not fold poster. 
• MAY ATTEND AT THE CONTEST CHILDREN WITH AGE BETWEEN 11 - 13 YEARS (BORN AFTER 15 NOVEMBER 1999, BUT BEFORE 15 NOVEMBER 2001)!
• Not get back the drawings (they remain the property of the club or district). 
• Lions Association retains the right to use drawings arrived at the district, respectively the International Association for purposes, that serve the interests Lions Association. 
• Purposes for use drawings sent, can only be noble: postcards, illustrated, calendar, logos, presentations about lionism. TO KNOW: 
• Each participating club will promote one winner drawing sponsored by the club organizer, who will participate in the District contest. 
• The winning drawing in the District (country) participate in international competition.


THE LIONS CLUB PLOIESTI JURY: 
• The top ten designs will be awarded by the Lions Club Ploiesti. 
• Prizes will be awarded are: 
            - Prize I-1000 RON 
            - Prize II-500 RON 
            - Prize III - 300 RON 
            - Mention-100 RON 

•Awards will be held on 
November, 10, 2012, at 11.00 to a location we will announce later. 
• Prize I will participate in the national contest at District 124 Romania. 
• Drawings will be sent to Lions Club Ploiesti at: Trei Ierarhi Street, no. 2, code 100010, Ploiesti. Deadline for designs is 
01.11.2012.


JURY INTERNATIONAL: 
• Grand Prix International will be announced around February, 01, 2013. The winner will receive the sum of $ 5,000 U.S. The winner will be joined by two family members and sponsor club president. First 23drawingsratedasthe best will receive $ 500 U.S. and a certificate.
