Planting trees and shrubs in Ploiesti
Association Lions District 124 Romania, chose April was for the project by planting trees and shrubs. This is already one of national programs of the organization.
Protect the environment and perform actions which are the objective to improving quality of life in communities where we operate or in places affected by natural disasters or uncontrolled deforestation, is one of the goals of Lions members.
Association of Lions Club Ploiesti, with the students by VIII class from “Sfantul Vasile” School Ploiesti, returned this year in the park Cina in Ploiesti, where last year they planted 20 lime trees.
Children with their teacher Roxana Iordache and also the Lions Club Ploiesti members have developed this activity, Tuesday, April 3, 2012, in the week called "school differently." Now they have planted 15 trees of catalpa, hoping that the place is filled green, as trees carefully planted now will become over the years vigorous trees and will beautify the park.
Full day of sun, spring from the soul and their faces, the joy of being together and spend some wonderful moments in the fresh air, magic last day of VIII class, sadness hidden from the eyes of young teacher who see her students working together and forming a team and for the next minute each choose their own path, everything changed that day in a special day. Children received from the Lions Club Ploiesti yellow caps emblazoned with the Lions logo.
To plant in our children's soul and heart the idea of doing good facts,
to participate actively in the community that they belong, is for us the hope that they will become true men of trust to society.
